Mark Judson

Mark studies multimedia journalism at the University of North Florida (UNF), where he will graduate with a bachelor's of science in December 2016.

While at UNF he was a writer and editor for the university's student media outlet, Spinnaker. This experience has allowed him to write on various topics including breaking news, features, sports and investigative pieces. Beyond digital and print, he has produced content for Spinnaker's television and low-power FM radio mediums.

 

Mark expanded his skills by becoming a columnist or contributing writer for multiple online and print publications throughout northeast Florida. This coverage has included a strong focus on local politics, features and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also used his knowledge of local happenings to make multiple appearances on a daily program for Jacksonville's NPR affiliate.

Beyond journalism Mark is passionate about creative literature, do-it-yourself music culture, hiking, local coffee shops, innovative technologies and collecting cassettes.
